Shreveport-Bossier 17, El Paso 15

With a 15-15 tie score after nine innings, Shreveport-Bossier needed an extra inning to top El Paso 17-15. Second baseman Uriak Marquez led the Captains with four hits in six at-bats, and he registered two runs and three RBI. Seven different captains combined for Shreveport-Bossier's 17 total hits. Shreveport-Bossier led 12-5 after the fifth inning, but El Paso scored the next nine runs. In the top of the tenth inning, Marquez and short stop Bryan Frichter batted in the winning runs to seal the deal for Shreveport-Bossier. El Paso was led by first baseman Kyle Nichols, who chipped in five hits in six at-bats and registered three runs and five RBI.
