Winnipeg 8, St. Paul 0 - Box Score

Starting pitcher Mitchell Lambson threw a complete game two-hitter to lead the Winnipeg Goldeyes past the St. Paul Saints 8-0.

The lefty improved to 11-2 on the year with the win and with nine strikeouts on the night, he now has 110 for 2019. Lambson gave up two walks and two hits, facing 31 batters and needed only 116 pitches (80 strikes) to finish the Saints.

Offensively for the Goldeyes, 3B Wes Darvill went 3-for-5 with a run scored and both CF Jonathan Mooney and SS Adrian Marin had two hits and two RBIs. RF Willy Garcia and C Kevin Garcia each added a pair of hits.

Sioux Falls 11, Sioux City 10 - Box Score

After both teams jumped off to a hot start with 11 combined runs in the first inning, the Sioux Falls Canaries held off the Sioux City Explorers 11-10.

The Explorers were leading the Canaries 6-5 after the first inning thanks to a two-RBI double from 3B Jose Sermo (2-for-5) and RBIs from 2B Drew Stankiewicz (3-for-5), DH Dexture McCall (2-for-5), 1B Adam Sasser (2-for-5) and C Dylan Kelly. In the bottom of the frame, DH Clint Coulter hit a three-run home run, SS Andrew Ely scored when RF Mike Hart bounced out and 2B/LF Jordan Ebert (3-for-5) singled home Burt Reynolds.

The Canaries edged in front in the seventh inning when Ebert cleared the bases with a three-RBI double. 1B/2B Mitch Glasser (4-for-5) scored a crucial run in the eighth when Coulter reached on a fielder's choice.

DH Justin Felix hit a two-run home run in the top of the ninth to pull the Explorers to within a run but that would be the fine run of the day.

Chicago 5, Lincoln 4 - Box Score

The Chicago Dogs plated three runs in the top of the eighth inning to slide past the Lincoln Saltdogs 5-4.

The Dogs struck first when 2B Edwin Arroyo (2-for-5) singled home CF David Olmedo-Barrera in the top of the third. 1B Keon Barnum added a solo home run in the fifth but the SaltDogs took the lead in the bottom of the frame when OF Nick Schulz (2-for-4) hit a solo homer and 3B/SSS Christian Ibarra hit a three-run shot.

In the eighth, SS Jordan Dean (2-for-5) singled home DH Victor Roache (2-for-3) and then scored when RF Tony Rosselli (2-for-4) doubled. Rosselli scored what turned out to be the winning run on a wild pitch.

Fargo-Moorhead 8, Milwaukee 4 - Box Score

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks doubled up the Milwaukee Milkmen 8-4 on Monday evening at Routine Field.

Milwaukee opened the scoring when CF Derek Reddy (3-for-5) scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the first. The RedHawks tied the score in the third when RF Tim Colwell (4-for-5) singled home SS Yhoxian Medina (2-for-5) but the Milkmen pulled back in front in the bottom half when 2B Garrett Copeland singled to plate SS Sam Dexter (2-for-3). Fargo-Moorhead pulled ahead for good in the fourth when 2B T.J. Bennett (2-for-5) tripled home 1B Correlle Prime (who also homered later in the game) and then scored on a sac fly from 3B Leobaldo Pina. C Daniel Comstock followed with a solo home run.

RF Adam Walker hit a lead-off homer for the Milkmen in the bottom of the frame and LF Riley Pittman (2-for-4) scored on a sac fly from Dexter in the ninth but Milwaukee couldn't complete the comeback.

Kansas City 14, Cleburne 8 - Box Score

The Kansas City T-Bones racked up 14 runs on 19 hits as they topped the Cleburne Railroaders 14-8.

All nine of the T-Bones that went to the plate recorded at least one hit and five of them had multi-hit games. 2B Dylan Tice and 3B Mason Davis each had four hits at the top of the order; Tice scored five times and Davis scored three times. DH Christopher Colabello went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and 1B Daniel Nava finished 2-for-6 with four RBIs including his seventh homer of the year.

RF Tyler Marincov added a pair of hits and SS Shawn O'Malley pitched in three RBIs.

All of Cleburne's runs came in the seventh inning and both RF K.C. Huth (3-for-4) and 1B Grant Buck had a pair of RBis.

Texas at Gary SouthShore (Postponed/Weather)

The game between the Texas AirHogs and the Gary SouthShore RailCats was postponed due to severe weather. The game will be made up as a part of a doubleheader tomorrow, Tuesday August 13, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Central Time. Both games will be seven innings.
