Amarillo 3, Wichita 2

The Amarillo Sox walked off on the Wichita Wingnuts 3-2 on a single from CF Harrison Kain. The contest was all square at two runs apiece headed in to the bottom of the ninth inning when the Sox started a rally. 1B Alberto Espinosa led off the frame with a single to right field and advance to third after a pair of put outs. Kain came up and knocked a 2-2 pitch to left field to score Espinosa for the game-winning run. Kain was 3-for-4 in the game and Espinosa was 2-for-4 and scored two runs. RF Matthew Tucker was also 2-for-4 on the night and hit his fourth home run of the year in the first inning. For the Wingnuts, 3B Steve Carrillo was 2-for-4 with a home run and a double.

Worcester 8, El Paso 5

The Worcester Tornadoes used a four-run first inning to take the lead and never look back against the El Paso Diablos, winning the inter-league affair 8-5. Eight of the nine Tornadoes in the order registered a hit while five of them had a pair of hits in the contest. RF Cameron Monger went 2-for-5 with two RBI and 3B Johnny Welch also had two RBI. For El Paso, SS Maikol Gonzalez had a nice night at the plate going 3-for-5 and scoring a run. The win went to P Michael Gedman for his 7.0 inning start in which he allowed just one run on seven hits. P Nick Serino picked up the save.

Laredo 5, Grand Prairie 0

The Laredo Lemurs blanked the Grand Prairie AirHogs with the help of a complete game six-hitter from P Matt Way. Way improved to 5-3 on the season as he struck out six batters and walked just two. The Lemurs took the lead in the second inning with a three-run home run by DH Palmer Karr Jr. Karr Jr. the way for the Lemurs with four RBI on a 2-for-4 night. 1B Javier Brito also had a nice night as he went 2-for-2, scoring twice and drawing a pair of walks. RF Trent Lockwood had a third of the AirHogs hits going 2-for-4.
