
Alouettes Release Seven Players

Montreal, June 21, 2002 - The Alouettes are setting up their roster for the 2002 season and the team announced that the seven following players have been released.

This brings the player total to 46 for now. A Canadian Football League roster is composed of 39 players plus 6 players on the practice roster (including a 2002 draft pick). Injured players and suspended players do not count in those numbers.
There are tickets left for the Alouettes' home opener on Tuesday, June 25, against the B.C. Lions at 7:30 p.m. Call Admission at (514) 790-1245 or for people calling from outside Montreal, 1-800-361-4595 to buy tickets.
The Alouettes will be introducing their 2002 edition on Wednesday, June 26, at the Grande-Place of the Complexe Desjardins located at 150 Sainte-Catherine Street West. All fans are welcome.
