Ottawa Renegades News Release

OTTAWA – Friday, June 21, 2002 – The Ottawa Renegades are listening to their football fans in the Nation's Capital and have already begun improving the parking situation for games at Frank Clair Stadium.

The club announced today that a partnership has been created a partnership with Carleton University and OC Transpo to help alleviate some of the parking congestion in and around Frank Clair Stadium on game days.

Carleton University will provide $8 paid parking in lots #3, 4, and 5. Furthermore, OC Transpo will provide a shuttle service from these locations over to the game.

"We cannot totally rectify the parking situation," explained Renegades president Brad Watters, "but we are coming up with some viable solutions."

The Ottawa Renegades urge all our patrons to use all the services provided by OC Transpo in order to get to and from the game safely.

The regular season kicks off on Friday, June 28 against the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders at Frank Clair Stadium. Game time is 7:00 pm.
