
Renegades Cancel Pep Rally

OTTAWA â Friday, June 21, 2002 â The Ottawa Renegades' pep rally, scheduled for Thursday, June 27 at the Cabin, has been cancelled due to the "Take the Capital Protest", scheduled for the same evening in Ottawa.
The security and proper welfare of the fans were the primary concerns of the Ottawa Renegades Football Club, which directly led to the cancellation of the event.
The regular season kicks off on Friday, June 28 against the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders at Frank Clair Stadium. Game time is 7:00 pm.
