Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans begin a busy week with a Tuesday night game against Metroplex rivals, the Texas Brahmas. The Americans will also take their first ever trips to both Dayton and Ft Wayne this weekend.

Thursday, February 9th - Americans 2 Wichita 4 Final

Allen, Texas - The Wichita Thunder erased a 2-0 Allen third period lead, scoring four unanswered goals in a 4-2 win at the Allen Event Center. Former Americans forward Dustin Donaghy had two goals in the Wichita victory.

Friday, February 10th - Americans 3 Texas 4 Final SO

North Richland Hills, Texas - The Allen Americans jumped out to a 3-0 lead Friday night in North Richland Hills, only to see the Brahmas rally to tie the game in the third. The game went to a shootout and fourteen rounds later, the Brahmas had the two points and the win. Marco Cousineau made the start and took the loss in net for Allen.

Saturday February 11th - Americans 4 Killer Bees 2

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans defeated the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees 4-2 on Saturday night in front of 5,683 fans at the Allen Event Center. Matt Register had the go-ahead goal in the third period, and Mark Nebus added an empty-netter to give Allen the win. The Americans victory, along with the Thunder's 3-1 loss to Rapid City, moved the Americans to within two points of top-seeded Wichita.

AMERICANS NEED TO KNOW

- Bruce Graham despite being on the IR remains tied for third in the CHL in scoring with 58 points. (25 goals, 33 assists)

- Jim McKenzie is 4th in the CHL in +/- with a +21 for the season. Bruce Graham and Jason Deitsch are tied for 6th in the CHL at + 19, and Colton Yellow Horn is 10th in the CHL at +17

- Nick Layton is 7th in the CHL in Rookie points with 33. (12 goals, 21 assists)

- Rejean Beauchemin has the best GAA in the CHL at 2.03 and SV% at .930

- Jason Deitsch is tied for third in the CHL in assists with 36.
