EVANSVILLE, IN.--- Through an outstanding past week of 3-wins in 4-starts and a surge back into a share of first place in the Turner Conference standings, the Evansville IceMen, despite being beset with injuries, have attained more top-drawer accolades and plaudits.

On this date, the Central Hockey League, in concert with the IceMen, has announced that for the third time this season, center TODD ROBINSON has been acclaimed OAKLEY/CHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK for the week of February 6th through February 12th.

ROBINSON, 33, enjoyed yet another banner week of high-tech, high-octane offensive production in spearheading his injury-riddled club to a 4(3-1-0) record for a physically-challenging week's work consisting of 4-games in 5-nights with two of those in enemy territory. For the week, the 5-8, 175 perennial All-Star authored 9-points in those 4-games on 4-goals, 5-assists, engineering multiple point performances in each of his club's three victories. In the process, "T. Rob" extended his latest point streak to 6(4-7-11) and his goal streak to 4-games; 4(4-5-9) with the latter reflecting Evansville's 4-games for the week.

The Trail, B.C. product essayed two 3-point masterpieces and another game of 2-points productivity, dramatically delivering the ultimate GWG in extra time in the IceMen 5-4 OTSO triumph last Tuesday night in Bloomington and his team's late, dramatic, gigantic comeback 3-2 OT triumph Friday night on home ice against Dayton. Robinson's latter strike was stoked with only :26 remaining in the 5-minute extra session. In Saturday night's 4-1 subduing of the Oilers in Tulsa, the IceMen captain connected on an electrifying SHG to climax Evansville's 3-goal second period powder keg which was fused by Josh Beaulieu's GWG earlier in the stanza on the playmaking expertise and enterprise of a "Robinsonian" primary assist. For the week, the IceMen's #19 was named the game's #1 Star twice and the #2 Star once in an absolutely masterful week of timely touch-in-the-clutch scoring activity.

For the season, Robinson has catapulted to the top of the CHL scoring race with 65-points in 45-games on 15-goals and league-best 50-assists. His 21-PPA tie him for the league's best output while his 16-mulitple point games lead the IceMen. The 4-time league scoring champion and 3-time league MVP needs one more point to reach 1,200-points in his extraordinary pro career; 326-goals, 873-assists; 1,199-points.

This is the third time this season that Robinson has been honored as Oakley/CHL Player of the Week.
