Allen Americans Celebrity Waiter Night for Charity a Huge Success

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans and Texas Restaurant in Richardson hosted a Celebrity Waiter Night last evening, with Allen Americans players and selected Ice Angels taking part in the event.
Texas, specializing in Beef, Ribs and Fish, is a new partner of Allen Americans Hockey this season. Owner and operator, Dale Wamstad, has been in the restaurant business for many years in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. Texas is his newest venture. www.thesonoftexas.com
The entire Allen Americans, team along with Team Broadcaster Tommy Daniels, and Ice Angels Vivian, Amanda and Brieana were on hand last night to serve fans, as well as mingle with patrons. All tips raised from last night's charity event went to www.LoveYourVeterans.org, a charity near and dear to Texas Owner, Dale Wamstad.
"The night was a huge success," said Allen Americans Broadcaster Tommy Daniels. "The players and Ice Angels had fun and did a nice job. The turnout was unbelievable. Many thanks again to our great fans for always getting behind us and supporting team functions. "
The event was the first of its kind in the five year history of the Allen Americans. Melanie Davis, Founder and CEO of Love your Veterans, was on hand and amazed at the turnout and support for her charity.
LoveYourVeterans.org is a national campaign to raise awareness, appreciation and support for military heroes. Through their special program, the Triumph Program, LoveYourVeterans.org strives to heal and bring purpose & meaning to our protectors, while preserving the important stories of our nation's legacy.
The Allen Americans return to action on Wednesday night against the Quad City Mallards at 7:05 pm . Tickets for all remaining home games and Games 1, 2 and 3 of the postseason are on sale now at Allen Event Center Box Office.
