
Alex Paul Wins Car Survivor at Canal Park

Akron, OH - The Car Survivor Contest at Canal Park has ended and 21- year old Alex Paul from Akron, OH outlasted his competitors. The contest, which was the talk of the city, lasted approximately 87 hours.
Car Survivor featured five contestants living in a 1996 Lexus. They entered the vehicle on Tuesday night at 7:15pm and had been taking up residence on the concourse at Canal Park throughout the contest. The "last man sitting" was able to drive home the 15-year old sedan.
"The Aeros would like to congratulate Alex for winning Car Survivor. We would also like to say thank you to the other four contestants who competed in the contest, and for all of the friends, family, and fans who supported the competitors during the memorable 4 days," said CALVIN FUNKHOUSER, Aeros Manager of Promotions.
