Alastre Remains Hot In Cutters Win

A night after picking up three hits, outfielder Jesus Alastre goes 4-for-5 with a pair of RBI to fuel the Cutters 9-4 win over the Batavia Muckdogs at BB&T Ballpark.
Ranger Suarez improves to 2-0 on the season, allowing two runs, both earned, on seven hits against the Muckdogs. The left-hander struck out three and walked a batter.
The four hits by Jesus Alastre mark the most hits by a Cutter in a single game this season. Five different batters recorded a multi-hit game for Williamsport as they collected a total of 15 hits in the win.
Grant Dyer pitched a pair of clean innings of relief for Williamsport, striking out three batters in the process.
In the last three games against the Muckdogs, Williamsport has scored 26 runs, and improve to 5-0 against the Pinckney division foe this season.
