Victoria, BC - Olivier Filion scored twice and assisted on two other goals while Chris Beckford-Tseu stopped 22 shots in his return to the Aces, who blasted the Victoria Salmon Kings 6-1 before 3,834 Wednesday at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre.

Having not played since a 6-3 loss in Bakersfield Saturday, Alaska appeared fresh and rested, limiting Victoria to just five first period shots and taking the lead on a power play goal by Filion at 9:58. Filion's one-timer, assisted by Mike Scott and Peter Metcalf, marked only the fourth power play goal for the Aces in their last 48 attempts. Filion and Scott set up Alaska's second goal, a wrist shot from between the circles by Patrick Wellar with just 31 seconds left in the frame.

The Aces wasted little time breaking open the game in the second period, as Filion scored his second goal of the night just 28 seconds after the puck drop for a 3-0 lead. Julian Talbot scored twice in a span of 1:28 midway through the period, and Gino Guyer buried a rebound from the right circle with 6:14 remaining in the frame as Alaska's bulge grew to 6-0.

Kiel McLeod broke up Beckford-Tseu's bid for a shutout with 10:23 remaining, scoring top shelf on a wrist shot from the left circle. Beckford-Tseu had played nearly 156 minutes without giving up a goal for the Aces, for whom he is perfect this season at 4-0.
