
Franck Reassigned to Nailers

WHEELING,WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' Affiliate of the Pittsburgh announce today that Andy Franck has been reassigned to the Nailers by the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Franck, 25, was signed to a PTO by the Penguins on November 29 and served as the backup to Andrew Penner for Wednesday night's 5-3 loss to the Syracuse Crunch. He has a 7-9-0 record, a 3.53 goals against average and a .901 save percentage with Wheeling this season.
The native of Lakewood, OH appeared in 55 games with the Nailers last season, recording a 33-15-5 record with a 2.28 goals against average and .919 save percentage.
The Nailers return to action Friday night, when they travel to Cincinnati to face the Cyclones at 7:30.
