Estero, FL (November 30, 2006) The Texas Wildcatters return home on Sunday afternoon after a season high seven game road trip. Come out to Ford Arena and greet your Wildcatters who currently hold the best winning percentage in the entire ECHL with a record of 12-2-2. Show up with your Wildcatters gear, banners, signs and noisemakers to greet the hottest team in the league. Check www.wildcattershockey.com on Sunday as to the exact time the Wildcatters will be arriving. The 'Catters have won all five games away from home on the trip and have now won a team record six consecutive games. They have an unbeaten streak of 10 games (8-0-2). Texas is the only team in the American Conference who is still unbeaten at home with a record of 4-0-1.
The Wildcatters will be home for the holidays as 12 of the next 14 games take place at Ford Arena. It all begins with a three game series against Charlotte beginning Thursday night, December 7 at 7:05 p.m. On Friday, December 8 at the 7:30 game, it will be Player Photo Night. Fans will be able to pose with their favorite Wildcatter following the game. Disposable cameras can be purchased at the Wildcatters merchandise booth. Ladies' Night will be held on Saturday, December 9. Tickets at the 7:05 p.m. game are just $7. Guys can take advantage of the discount if they come dressed the part.
The Texas Wildcatters are the ECHL affiliate for the AHL's Houston Aeros. The next Wildcatters home game is on Thursday, December 7 vs. the Charlotte Checkers.
