AirHogs to Hold Veterans Appreciation Night Saturday

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- The Grand Prairie AirHogs are proud to announce another great concert for this upcoming weekend, as they will hold Veterans Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 13, presented by Miller High Life and sponsored in part by The Ranch radio group.

The game against the El Paso Diablos at QuikTrip Park will start an hour earlier than usual, at 6:05 p.m., and feature a postgame concert featuring the legendary Ray Wylie Hubbard, with opening acts by Davin James and a special guest appearance by Bonnie Bishop.

Two dollars of every ticket sold will be donated to support the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). All military personnel will also get discounted tickets to the game.

"Miller High Life has done a great job with its salute to veterans program," AirHogs VP/General Manager Craig Brasfield said. "We're very proud to put on an event like this at QuikTrip Park and we join Miller High Life in saluting all of the great men and women of our armed forces."

The AirHogs continue their four-game series with the Kansas City T-Bones at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9. The next AirHogs home game at QuikTrip Park is Friday, August 12, for Faith and Family Night presented by KLTY Radio, featuring a postgame concert and testimonies of praise from former and current athletes.
