LOOKING BACK:
On Tuesday night, Brandon Segal scored two of Milwaukee's four power-play goals as the Admirals beat Iowa, 6-0... It was Milwaukee's fifth win in a row after an 0-3-0-1 start... Kris Beech also scored twice, and Brian Finley made 29 saves in his first appearance since Oct. 8.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Youth is served in Portland and Hartford as the co-leaders in the Atlantic Division go head-to-head on Wednesday (7:00 ET)... It's a return to the Hartford Civic Center for Pirates head coach Kevin Dineen, who played 10 seasons for the NHL's Whalers... Ryan Shannon, the RBK Hockey/AHL Rookie of the Month for October, has been Portland's leader on the ice this year, pacing the team with seven goals and 12 points in 11 games... The Pirates have won seven of their last eight games, including Sunday's 1-0 win over Providence in which first-year pro Mike Wall made 24 saves... The Wolf Pack have earned a point in eight straight (6-0-1-1)... Nigel Dawes and Colby Genoway are tied for Hartford's team lead with five goals each, and fellow rookie Al Montoya has won his last four decisions for the Pack.
Hamilton hosts Binghamton at Copps Coliseum on Wednesday night (7:30 ET, Rogers Sportsnet East/Ontario) with both teams desperate for a win... The Senators are just 1-6-1-1 on the season after racking up 106 points and winning the East Division a year ago... Brandon Bochenski has two goals and an assist in two games with Binghamton after starting the season with Ottawa... The Bulldogs are 1-6-0-1 at Copps, dropping four in a row on home ice... Brad Winchester has scored four goals in his last three games for Hamilton... Montreal assigned goaltender Yann Danis to the Bulldogs this morning.
Omaha and Houston kick off a two-game series at the Toyota Center on Wednesday (7:05 CT), with the Aeros sitting atop the West Division with a record of 9-4-1-1... Erik Westrum ranks second in the AHL with 23 points for Houston, including a league-best 16 assists... Kurtis Foster, tied for the league scoring lead among defensemen, had three goals and an assist in two games at Omaha last month, a series which saw the Aeros win both games in shootouts... Knights defenseman Richie Regehr ended a six-game drought by recording two assists in Saturday's 3-2 win at Peoria.

On Monday, Ryan Hollweg scored his first NHL goal and added an assist in the N.Y. Rangers' 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh... Junior Lessard scored his first NHL goal as Dallas beat Edmonton, 4-0; goaltender Mike Morrison made his NHL debut in a relief appearance for the Oilers.
