HIGH HONORS...Today, Aeros 3B KEVIN KOUZMANOFF was named Eastern League Player of the Month for the month of May...In May, Kouzmanoff hit .440 (37-84) with 8 2B, 6 HR, 26 RBI, 20 R, 1 SB and a slugging % of .750 in 23 games...Kevin currently leads ALL of minor league baseball with a .416 batting average.
IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING...The Eastern League record for highest season batting average is .400, done by JOE MUNSON of the Harrisburg Senators in 1925.
STREAKING...The Aeros have won five of their last six games and seven of their last 10 and currently hold a 0.5 game lead over second place Altoona in the E.L.'s Southern Division.
