
Ron Davenport back with Fisher Cats

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
Manchester, NH- OF Ron Davenport was added to the Fisher Cats roster today from Single-A Dunedin. He takes the place of OF Maikel Jova, who was sent to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.
The 24-year-old Davenport began this season with New Hampshire, but went 0-for-27 in nine games before getting sent to Dunedin of the Florida State League. With Dunedin, Davenport was hitting .337 with seven home runs, 18 doubles, and 26 RBI in 39 games. Davenport spent all of last season with the Fisher Cats, hitting .270 with ten homers and 38 RBI. He was originally selected by the Blue Jays in the 22nd round of the 2000 draft.
The Fisher Cats begin a six game homestand tonight at 6:35 PM against the Erie SeaWolves (Tigers). It's Thirsty Tuesday at Merchantsauto.com Stadium, which means beverages are only $1.50.
