Aeros Dynamics, Opening Night

*The Akron Aeros 2006 season begins tonight with a 6:00 p.m. start at the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets). Akron is on the road for the first seven games of 2006 before returning home on Thursday, April 13 for their home opener against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals).

*The Aeros will celebrate their 10th Anniversary in Akron this season and their 18th overall as an Indians affiliate.

*The Aeros Opening Day roster includes 16 members from the 2005 Eastern League Championship team. Top prospects include: RHP Adam Miller, 1B/OF Ryan Mulhern, OF Brad Snyder, LHP Rafael Perez and RHP Edward Mujica.

*The '06 Aeros have a completely new coaching staff: Manager Tim Bogar, Pitching Coach Scott Radinsky and Coach Felix Fermin....2005 E.L. Manager of the Year Torey Lovullo was promoted to Triple A Buffalo along with Pitching Coach Greg Hibbard...Coach Wayne Kirby is now with the Texas Rangers organization.

*All 2006 Akron Aeros games can be heard exclusively on 1350 AM WARF, Radio Free Ohio...Longtime broadcaster Jim Clark returns to call the action.
