Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, Texas - During the month of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Houston Aeros wore pink patches on their home jerseys to help bring awareness to the great cause. As an extension of the efforts to raise funds and awareness for Susan G. Komen to help fight the disease the Aeros are running an online auction for the patches and Nolan Schaefer's goalie stick which he donned with pink tape during warm-ups prior to the Aeros' 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness game.

All patches are autographed by the players who wore them and Nolan autographed his game-used stick. The auction for the autographed patches and goalie stick is in progress now and runs to November 24 at noon CST. on AEROS.com.
