Norfolk Admirals News Release
The Chilled Ponds Grand Re-Opening: Thursday, July 17 at The Chilled Ponds (formerly Arc IceSports) in Chesapeake. The Admirals' staff will be in attendance at the re-opening of the skating rink (across from Greenbrier Mall, behind the movie theater) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
USS Wisconsin Golf Outing: Friday, July 18 at Sewells Point Golf Course in Norfolk. The Admirals are auction donors for this event to benefit the Battleship Wisconsin Foundation, which begins at 12:00 p.m.
Norfolk Sports Club ProAm Golf Tournament and Auction: Sunday, July 20 at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach. The Admirals are donors for this auction to benefit the Norfolk Sports Club Scholarship Foundation, which starts at 6:00 p.m.
50th Annual Seafood Outing: Wednesday, July 30 at Tidewater Community College Portsmouth Campus. Admirals staff members will attend this Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce event which takes place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Child Fair 2003: Sunday, August 3 - Monday, August 4 at the Hampton Coliseum. Once again, the Admirals will be exhibitors at this annual event, and Hat Trick and Salty will stop by for special appearances. The Fair is from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. each day.
20th Annual National Night Out Parade: Monday, August 4 at Monroe Elementary School in Norfolk. Admirals' mascot Salty will make an appearance at this event hosted by the Norfolk Neighborhood Crime Prevention Coalition starting at 5:15 p.m.
