
Toronto Roadrunners Announce Schedule Format, Play-by-Play Broadcaster

Ernie Coetzee, President of the Toronto Roadrunners Hockey Club announced today the schedule format for the 2003-2004 season, as approved by the American Hockey League's Board of Governors.
The AHL's 1,120-game schedule is based on the new four division alignment whereby each of the League's 28 teams will play an unbalanced 80-game schedule (40 games at home and 40 on the road). Coetzee added that Toronto will play 32 games against Canadian rivals in the new North Division. The schedule for the AHL's 68th regular season will begin on October 8th and will conclude on April 11, 2004.

Coetzee also announced that Steve Kouleas Anchor/Host for The Score Television Network has been appointed as the Toronto Roadrunners play by play television broadcaster. Kouleas brings a wealth of television and hockey knowledge to the Roadrunners organization, Coetzee noted.
