Admirals to Simulcast Games on WHKT 1650 AM & 1490 AM the Game

NORFOLK, VA -- The Norfolk Admirals are pleased to announce that WHKT 1650 AM will carry Admirals radio broadcasts for the remainder of the 2013-14season. The Admirals will simulcast their radio broadcasts on both 1490 AM The Game, and on 1650 AM giving fans two options to listen to Norfolk Admirals Hockey on the radio waves and online.

"We are pleased to be partnering with WHKT 1650 AM to carry our games for the remainder of the season," said Admirals Vice President Joe Gregory. "The opportunity to expand our radio network, and have our games broadcast on both 1490 AM and 1650 AM is great for our organization and for our fans."

WHKT 1650 AM is a conservative talk radio station based out of Portsmouth, Virginia. WHKT 1650 will begin carrying Admirals game broadcasts tonight when Norfolk battles the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Tonight the Admirals battle the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at Scope. The first 2,025 fans will receive the second series of the Admirals trading card set. The two teams will meet again on Saturday beginning at 7:15 p.m.
