
Scotty Bowman Night as Hogs Host Wild

Rockford, Ill. - With the legendary Scotty Bowman in attendance, the Rockford IceHogs (15-16-3-0) will host the Iowa Wild (13-14-2-0) at the BMO Harris Bank Center in the first of three Midwest Division games in three days. Tonight's game at 7 p.m. will be the fifth contest between the IceHogs and Wild.
The first 2,500 fans to the BMO will receive a Scotty Bowman Bobblehead courtesy of U.S. Cellular to honor the hockey legend for his contributions to the game and the Blackhawks organization as a whole. Fans can also take advantage of a Vienna Beef Family Value Day. Family's can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, four soft drinks for $59. Additional tickets can be added for $15. In the midst of a six game winless streak, the IceHogs are being lead in goals by left wing Brad Winchester. After starting the season's first two months with five goals total, the Madison, Wisconsin native heads into January having scored five goals and seven points in 10 December games.
After being called up to the NHL for 10 games, rookie winger Erik Haula is still tied for the team lead in points with 16 (8g-8a) for Iowa. The Pori, Finland native will play his third game back with Iowa tonight since being sent back down with the Wild having tallied a standings point in five of their last six contests.
Next Home Game: Saturday, Jan. 4 vs. Grand Rapids. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. This will be game two of the three game weekend set against Midwest Division foes for the IceHogs.
