October 22, 2003 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee Admirals Executive Vice President/General Manager Phil Wittliff announced today that the club has signed defenseman Brad Tiley (TIE-lee) to a 25-game American Hockey League contract.
Tiley was the AHL's Defenseman of the Year in 1999-2000 and First Team All-Star has also been in two AHL All-Star Games as a member of the Canadian AHL All-Stars. Tiley returned to the ice with the Philadelphia Phantoms last season after missing the final two months of the 2001-02 season due to a broken leg.
The Markdale, Ontario native scored 38pts (8g-28a) in 79 games with the Phantoms after scoring 21 points (6g-15a) in 56 games during his injury-shortened 2001-02 campaign.
Tiley has seen action in 11 National Hockey League games with the Phoenix Coyotes and the Philadelphia Flyers. He was a fourth round NHL Entry Draft pick of the Boston Bruins in 1991.
The Admirals will play the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks 7pm Thursday night at the Bradley Center.
