Admirals Set First Two Playoff Dates
March 31, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI - Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that the team's first two Calder Cup Playoff games will be on Thursday, April 16th at 7:00 pm and on Saturday, April 18th at 7:30 pm. Tickets for those games will go on sale on today at 1:00 pm.
For the second consecutive season, the cost for tickets to the first two games of the post-season will be less than during the regular season. Seats in the Stern and Bow will be just $10, $6 less than during the regular season, and seats in the Mid-Deck ($12) and the Admirals Quarters ($18) will be $6 and $3 less, respectively, than during the year. In addition, groups of ten or more still get a minimum of $2 off the price of each ticket. For more information on group tickets or to book a group fans should call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
The Admirals opponent for the first round of the playoffs is still to be determined. However, since the team has already captured the West Division Crown they are assured of having home ice advantage in the first two rounds of the post-season. If the playoffs ended today Milwaukee would square off against Rockford, who currently occupies fourth place in the division, in the best-of-seven West Division Semifinals.
Fans can purchase individual tickets for the playoffs, or any of the team's final three regular season home games, by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or in person at the Admirals office (510 W. Kilbourn Ave) or at the Bradley Center Box Office.
The Admirals also have playoff packages on sale that include the same seat to each of the Admirals 16 potential post-season home games. Packages start at $244 per seat for tickets in the Stern and Bow (sections 203-211 and 217-225) and run $276 for seats in the Mid-Deck (sections 226-202 and 212-216). Playoff packages for seats in the Admirals Quarters (all front row seats) are all occupied by season ticket holders.
