NORFOLK, VA - The Norfolk Admirals, in conjunction with Ursa Navigations, Inc., are pleased to announce the re-launch of norfolkadmirals.com, the official online home of the Admirals.
The new norfolkadmirals.com places a strong emphasis on multimedia, with much larger photos to accompany news items, a more prominent location for photo galleries and a new streaming video section.
One of the most prominent new features is the tabbed main section of the site, including news items, photo galleries, streaming video and blogs. This section is designed to both maximize the amount of information available on the website and keep the size of the website to a minimum.
The site also increases the ability of Admirals fans to interact with the team with a new section for blogs. The Admirals will have players and staff members blogging on norfolkadmirals.com throughout the season.
The new norfolkadmirals.com features a sleek look highlighted by a site header celebrating the twentieth anniversary season of Admirals hockey. In the header, each of the five logos in Admirals history appear in a video with a player representing each era. The video is capped off with photographs of three current Admirals and the text "Official Website of the Norfolk Admirals."
The Admirals send special thanks to Steve Schlossberg and Eddie Schmidtmann for their many hours of work that made this re-launch possible.
The Admirals will host the Philadelphia Phantoms on Friday and Saturday at Scope in two preseason games. Tickets for those games are available now and are only $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years of age.
The 20th season of Admirals hockey officially kicks off on Friday and Saturday, October 10 and 11, at Scope against the Hershey Bears.
