CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Simon Gamache had a goal and an assist as the Milwaukee Admirals held on for a 4-3 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Friday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Cam Severson, Jerred Smithson and Vern Fiddler also scored for the Admirals, who led 4-0 midway through the third period.
Joffrey Lupul had a goal and two assists for the Ducks, who fell to 2-2-0-0 in their last four games. The loss was the first of the season for Cincinnati when Lupul has a multiple-point game (11-1-0-0).
Seamus Kotyk stopped 24 shots for Milwaukee, while Frederic Cassivi finished with 18 saves for Cincinnati.
The Ducks and Admirals complete at two-game series Saturday at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
