LAST WEEK: Adirondack went 3-1-0 last week, including three wins at home to stretch its home unbeaten streak to nine games (7-0-2), improving its overall record to 33-16-4 for 70 points. The Frostbite are in second place of the Eastern Division, eight points behind Danbury with four games in hand.

Wednesday, February 22 vs. Roanoke FROSTBITE 7 Vipers 3
A power-play goal from Matt Elich 6:35 into the opening period gave Roanoke the early lead. But, the Frostbite tied the game quickly on a Sylvain Cloutier power-play goal 1:27 later, and then took control of the game scoring five times in the second period. Both Mike Berry and Ryan Bennett scored two goals in the win, while Greg Koehler added three assists. The Frostbite out-shot the Vipers 47-22 in the contest.

Friday, February 24 vs. Roanoke FROSTBITE 4 Vipers 1
After a scoreless first period, Pete Ollari gave the Frostbite the lead, scoring his first professional goal 4:44 into the second period. Roanoke tied the game on a Matt Elich goal just 47 seconds later, but the Frostbite went back on top before the end of the period on a Ryan Bennett tally at 13:53. Greg Koehler and Mark Hurtubise added goals in the third period to set the final.

Saturday, February 25 @ Danbury Trashers 5 FROSTBITE 2
Adirondack's eight-game unbeaten streak came to an end at Danbury. The Trashers scored a pair of goals in each of the first periods to take a 4-0 lead into the final 20 minutes. Sylvain Cloutier finally got the Frostbite on the board 1:14 into the third period, and a power-play goal from Hugo Belaner at 10:14 made it a two-goal game. But, Carlyle Lewis tallied an empty-net goal with 1:47 left to seal it for the Trashers. Adirondack out-shot Danbury 46-29 for the game, and 38-10 over the final two periods.

Sunday, February 26 vs. Richmond FROSTBITE 5 RiverDogs 1
The Frostbite returned to their winning ways, improving to 10-0-0 against Richmond this season. Greg Koehler scored the only goal of the opening period, tallying a power-play goal at 14:47. The Frostbite added three more scores in the second period, two from Hugo Belanger and a single score from Ryan Bennett. Ryan Prentice added a shorthanded tally 5:17 into the third period to make it 5-0. Mike Oliveira spoiled Derek Gustafson's shut-out bid, scoring with 6:42 remaining to set the final.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Saturday, March 4 @ Elmira 7:05 p.m.
Adirondack and Elmira meet for the ninth of 15 times this season. The Frostbite are 6-1-1 overall against the Jackals this season, and are 3-1-0 at First Arena. Elmira is in fourth place of the Eastern Division with a record of 20-28-6 for 46 points.

FROSTBITE NOTES

- Sylvain Cloutier has at least one point in each of the last seven games, scoring five goals and eight assists over that span.

- Ryan Bennett tallied 12 goals and added eight assists in 13 February games. Bennett scored 12 of his 14 goals thus far this season in February.

- With seven points during the Frostbite's four games last week, Hugo Belanger surpassed the 1,300-point mark in his professional career. Belanger has tallied 1,304 points in 896 career professional games.

- The Frostbite are averaging 41.6 shots on goal over the last five games.
- In his last five starts, Derek Gustafson is 4-0-1 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage.

FROSTBITE FANTASY PUCK DROP CONTEST
Only two days remain in the contest! The Frostbite are giving fans the opportunity to drop the puck prior to the Friday, March 10 game against the Rockford IceHogs. Any fan who purchases a souvenir puck during the month of February will automatically enter the drawing. Pucks can be purchased during Frostbite home games, or at the Frostbite office during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday). You will receive one entry for each puck purchased. A variety of pucks will be available for purchase, including specialty pucks from earlier in the season.

FROSTBITE TICKETS
Tickets for Frostbite home games are available at the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office (10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and two hours prior to game time on Sunday), or by calling the Box Office at (518) 798-0202. Tickets can also be purchased on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Discounted group tickets for groups of 15 or more are available by calling the Frostbite office at (518) 926-7825.

FROSTBITE ON THE AIR
All 76 Frostbite regular season games can be heard on WCKM 98.5 FM and on-line at www.frostbitehockey.com with the Voice of the Frostbite, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to face-off with the Frostbite Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Frostbite games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The B2 Networks feed can be accessed through the Frostbite website at www.frostbitehockey.com. Every Monday during the season, WCKM airs the "In the Box" Show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The show is hosted by WCKM morning personality, and Frostbite PA announcer, Dan Miner. Dan is joined on the show each week by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Dane Jackson, Frostbite Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Joe Babik, and a different Frostbite player.
