The Aces jumped out to a seven-run lead after the first two innings, getting started early as they buried the New Haven County Cutters 13-4.
The Aces racked up 16 hits in the win, including four from Al Corbeil and three apiece from Yohanny Valera and Eddie Gerald, who drove in five runs on the day.
Josh Neitz limited the Cutters to three runs over five innings to get the win for the Aces. Steve Emmerthal and Jeff Busenitz combined for four solid innings of relieve to preserve the win. Aaron Fera homered for the Cutters in the loss.
