
Aces Ballpark to Host NIAA State Championships

RENO, Nev. - The 2010 Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association baseball championships will be played Saturday, May 22, at Aces Ballpark in Reno, the NIAA and Reno Aces announced today.
Three of four NIAA classifications will play their championship games at Aces Ballpark on May 22, with the 1A State Championship to kick-off the festivities at 9 a.m.
The games will continue at 1 p.m. with the 3A championship, while the 4A championship game is set to begin at 5 p.m.
With the double-elimination format in place, there is a possibility of an "if-game" in each classification. If necessary, the "if-games" would be played immediately following each classification's first game, and the ensuing championships would be moved back accordingly.
Tickets for this championship day are $6 for students and $8 for adults, and are good for the entire day. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Aces Ballpark box office, online at RenoAces.com, by phone at (775) 334-7000, or at Aces Ballpark on the day of the games.
