BOWIE BAYSOX PLAYER MOVE

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a pair of roster moves. OF Miguel Abreu was transferred to Single-A Frederick, IF Carlos Rojas was transferred to Bowie from class Single-A Aberdeen. With the moves, the Baysox maintain a complete 24-man roster.

Abreu played in 33 games for the Baysox this year, batting .198 (25-126) with two doubles, three home runs and 15 RBIs. He was an Eastern League All-Star in 2009, when he led the Baysox with 130 games played, batting .290 (142-489) with 31 doubles, one triple, four home runs and 25 stolen bases.

Rojas has not appeared in a game yet this season. He spent parts of the last two years in Bowie. Last year he appeared in 24 games for Bowie, batting .162 (12-74) with a double and one RBI. In 2008, the infielder played in 120 for the Baysox, batting .247 (109-441) with 13 doubles one triple and two home runs.
