
Abbotsford Heat host 'Heat in the Street'

Abbotsford Heat News Release
The Abbotsford Heat are heading to the Calder Cup Playoffs! To get ready for the upcoming playoff run the Heat are hosting "Heat in the Street."
This 4-on-4 ball hockey tournament will take place at Magnuson Ford on South Fraser Way from 11:30 - 4:30 Saturday, April 10. There are 8 teams playing in single elimination games down to one winner. Teams include members of the Abbotsford Police, Abbotsford Fire Department, Magnuson Ford, Abbotsford Nissan, Abbotsford Chrysler.
Fans are encouraged to come and take part in our "shoot to win" competition for a chance to win great prizes including ticket giveaways for the 1st playoff game throughout the day. Country 107 Club members can stop by and pick up the bonus code word for their chance to win an authentic, game worn David Van der Gulik jersey. Abbotsford Heat's sales team will be on hand to help fans purchase tickets right on site or answer any playoff questions you might have.
Getting involved will be Boston Pizza who will be on hand to sell pizza by the slice and beverages. Van Houtte Coffee's Bean Queens will be serving coffee and hot chocolate for fans. Country 107 will also be on location.
The Grand Prize for the Tournament will include; 14 tickets to a suite for the first home playoff game, $200.00 food & beverage credit for their suite, exclusive Heat Calder Cup Playoff t-shirts and a champion trophy courtesy of Magnuson Ford.
