Aaron Marvin Called up to Milwaukee

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that C Aaron Marvin was recalled to the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) yesterday, in time for the Admiral's game in Rockford last night.

Marvin earned his first trip to the American League this season, and made it count, scoring the game's first goal 5:49 into the contest. It would prove to be the lone Milwaukee goal of the night. The goal was also Marvin's first in the AHL. The 6-2, 205 pound center has played 32 games with Chicago this season, and is second among Chicago rookie forwards with eight goals, 13 assists, and 21 points. Marvin began his professional career last season, playing three games with the Abbotsford Heat.

The Warroad, MN, native spent four seasons at St. Cloud State University before going pro, where he had 71 points (27g, 44a) in 154 games. He served as the team's captain during his senior season, and scored 27 points (10g, 17a) during his sophomore campaign.

The Express return to the Sears Centre Arena for three games on Wednesday, January 25, Saturday, January 28, and Sunday, January 29, all against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
