LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced Wednesday that catcher A.J. Jimenez has been activated from the 7-day Disabled List and has been promoted to Dunedin (A-Advanced - Florida State League) along with third baseman Kevin Ahrens. Additionally, the Lugnuts have received middle infielder Oliver Dominguez from Auburn (Short-A - New York-Penn League) to fill the open active roster slot.

Dominguez, 21, opened the season in Lansing, batting .250 in 35 games before getting transferred to Auburn on June 13th. He batted .241 in 57 games with the Doubledays, collecting 12 doubles, three homers, 21 RBIs, and 14 stolen bases. The Dominican native also enjoyed a brief excursion to Double-A New Hampshire at the end of July, striking out in both of his at-bats with the Fisher Cats.

The Lugnuts' roster currently comprises 25 active players and four players on the DL.
