
\'Chucks and WVCU present donation to Children's Miracle Network

Wausau Woodchucks News Release
WAUSAU-On Wednesday, August 10, representatives from the Wisconsin Woodchucks and the Wisconsin Valley Credit Unions presented a check worth $2,500 to the Children's Miracle Network.
The donation funds were raised during two Credit Union nights at Athletic Park, via raffle drawing proceeds and an auction for limited-edition 1911 Woodchucks uniforms, which were game-worn the same night.
Children's Miracle Network is an organization committed tohelping as many children as possible by raising funds for children's hospitals, and keepingdonations in the communities in which they were raised to help local children in need.
Donated funds will stay in central Wisconsin to help provideprograms, services and treatment for sick and injured children. Funds also are used to support programs that seek to prevent children's injuries, and promote healthy lifestyles.
The Wisconsin Woodchucks commend the Wisconsin Valley Credit Unions for their initiative and generosity in supporting the Children's Miracle Network.
