Riverhawks add former NBA player and muscle to the roster

Quad City Riverhawks News Release


Davenport - The Quad City Riverhawks ABA Professional Basketball Team signed former Philadelphia 76er SirValiant Brown. Brown is a 6'1" 195lb guard out of George Washington University and most recently was playing in Puerto Rico. Brown was 2nd in the nation in scoring as a freshman during the 1999-2000 season.

The Riverhawks also signed a 6'7" 240lb forward named Jason Faulkner. Faulkner is a 2004 graduate of Bradley University and just recently completed touring with Athletes in Action. To make room for the 2 newcomers, Haze Massey has been moved to inactive roster and DaMarcus Ellis has been waived.

The next game for the Riverhawks is Monday, November 13 vs. the Anderson Champions at Marycrest Activity Center starting at 7:05 pm, doors open at 6:00pm. Tickets are available by logging onto www.etix.com, visiting the Riverhawks office at the NW Bank Tower in Bettendorf or are available at Marycrest prior to the game.
