Riverhawk Player Keith Gayden to play with Chicago Bulls on summer league team

Moline, IL- The Quad City Riverhawks are proud to announce that 2008 Riverhawk Keith Gayden will be on the Chicago Bulls summer league roster. Gayden, a 6'8 215 lbs. forward from Duquesne, averaged 14.6 ppg. and 7.8 rebounds for the 'Hawks and helped lead the team to the 2008 PBL West Division Regular Season Crown with his energetic play. The Chicago native played with the Elgin Racers of the International Basketball League (IBL) this summer. In 14 games he averaged 17.5 ppg. and grabbed 10.2 rpg. which ranked him third in the IBL.
Gayden will be playing along side fellow Chicago native Derrick Rose who the Bulls picked with the first choice in the 2008 NBA Draft on June 26th. He'll also join former Bulls first round draft picks Joakim Noah and Tyrus Thomas on the roster for new Bulls Head Coach Vinnie Del Negro's first summer camp.
The Bulls will tip off the 2008 Pepsi Pro Summer League in Orlando, FL on July 7th taking on the Miami Heat and 2nd overall pick Michael Beasley in the second game of the day. The Bulls will five games during the summer league that runs from the 7th through the 11th. The first games of each day tip off at 3:00 est. with the rest the day's games starting 30 minutes after each game.
