Anderson Champions News Release
Anderson. Jesse and Jamie. We didn't have a loss. We won! It's been years since I've seen that many people in the Wigwam for basketball. Not even the recent HS county tournament bring this many people. I'm really, really fired up. You've hit the nail on the head; local names, local appeal. It will become much larger, just wait. And thanks for including me and the City. Great job. Kevin (Mayor of Anderson IN).
From Jesse: Mayor. Now if I could get Randy Zachary to come out to play! We wanted Damon Bailey and Todd Leary and Jay Edwards to come to the game just to see the product. Chandler Thompson came to see us play..We wanted everyone to see the product.
The Anderson newspaper gave us the front page of the Sports section on Sunday. Indy Star said they would run their story on Thursday or Friday...Anthony Calhoun from WISH TV 8 gave us a great boost by covering us on Sports Locker. They were very good to us. Channel 13 wants to come down and interview Kojak. Fox 59 will be down as well. Thanks. My wife and I and uncle (Bobby Wilkerson) appreciate you. Let's make history!

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
