Anderson Champions Open Season Ticket Campaign

July 12, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Anderson Champions News Release

Anderson, IN. The ABA Anderson Champions have opened their season ticket campaign for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. "We play in one of the best venues in the United States - the historic Wigwam in Anderson - 8000 seats - with clear unobstructed views from every one of them. It is a great place to play basketball - and we are proud to be in Anderson, a wonderful city," said team owner Jesse Wilkerson. "We want to provide a great alternative to high priced entertainment with exciting ABA basketball, and we want to make it fan-friendly and affordable and fun!"

"Therefore, because we have such a large venue, we have priced our season tickets at $99 for 18 home games - if this isn't the best sports and entertainment value around, I don't know what is. We'd like to sellout the Wigwam and are asking for the support of everyone in Madison County," Wilkerson added.

"Also, we have developed a unique fundraising program for churches and organizations in the area, a way for churches and not-for-profits to generate much needed operating capital as well as being a part of the Anderson Champions organization."

New team sponsors include Papa John's Pizza, Insight Cable, WHBU 1240am and the Anderson Mall.
