67's Downed in Plymouth; Return Home for Friday Game vs. London

OTTAWA -- The Ottawa 67's completed a three-game road trip on Saturday night, dropping a 3-1 decision to the Plymouth Whalers in Ontario Hockey League action.

Dante Salituro scored his 35th goal of the season late in the final period during a power play to give Ottawa its only goal.

Leo Lazarev, who started in net for the 67's for the second consecutive evening, got to the bench for an extra attacker with two minutes remaining, but Francesco Vilardi's empty-net marker sealed it for the Whalers.

Connor Sills and Mathew Campagna also scored for the Whalers. Goalie Alex Nedeljkovic made 37 saves, including 15 in the final period.

The game marked the final time the 67's will play in Plymouth, as the Whalers franchise will be moving to Flint, Michigan next season.

The next 67's game is at TD Place on Friday, March 6 against the London Knights. Face-off is at 7:30 p.m.
