FrogVille, WI - June 5th, 2011 - Green Bay took advantage of two errors in the eighth inning to earn a 5-2 win over the Wisconsin Woodchucks on the road in the two game series sweep.

With the Bullfrogs down by a run in the eighth inning, Cameron Dullnig led off with an infield single, his second of the night. Joe Betcher reached on the first error off the inning when he grounded back to the pitcher Cameron Amsrud, who threw a potential double play into center field. Billy Moon followed with an RBI single to tie the game as he went to second on the throw to the plate. Dan Gerow took advantage of the drawn in infield with a bloop over the right side which scored two runs, one of which was aided by an error in right field. Nick Stein drove two more runs in with a two-out single to make it 5-1. There were five hits and two errors in the inning with four of the five runs unearned.

The Woodchucks broke the scoreless tie in the previous half inning on an RBI single from Dylan Peterson. It could have been worse, as Wisconsin loaded the bases with one out. Robbie De La Cruz would fly out to the left fielder Billy Moon who had a chance to camp under the ball in left center and line up the throw to the plate. Derek Peterson broke for home after the catch and Moon cut him down hitting the catcher Gerow on a fly to complete an inning ending double play to keep the game 1-0 sending the 'Frogs into the eighth with momentum.

Starters Jonathan Boersma for Wisconsin and Corey Kyle for Green Bay did not allow a run but it was not easy for either right-hander. Kyle, making his first start of the year, stranded four runners in scoring position in the first three innings. After that, Kyle became more aggressive with his fastball and retired the final seven hitters he faced in the no decision. The Bullfrogs had their chances against Boersma in his seven innings of work, but could not capitalize with runners in scoring position in the third, fourth and fifth innings.
