2012 Molson AHL Outdoor Classic Schedule of Events Set

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today the schedule of events for the 2012 Molson American Hockey League Outdoor Classic, which will be held at historic Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton from January 16th, 2012 - January 28th, 2012.
Highlighting the 2012 Molson AHL Outdoor Classic will be the PepsiCo AHL Outdoor Classic Alumni Luncheon, the PepsiCo AHL Outdoor Classic Alumni / Celebrity Game with a post-game concert at Ivor Wynne Stadium on Friday, January 20th, 2012, and the Boston Pizza "Steeltown Showdown" between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Toronto Marlies at Ivor Wynne Stadium on Saturday, January 21st, 2012. The Boston Pizza "Steeltown Showdown" will be the first-ever professional outdoor game held in Canada east of the Province of Alberta, and the first AHL outdoor game played in Canada.
The 2012 Molson AHL Outdoor Classic's main event, the 2012 Boston Pizza "Steeltown Showdown" between the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, and the Toronto Marlies, AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, on Saturday, January 21st, 2012 will be broadcast live across Canada on Sportsnet Pacific, West, Ontario and East, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
