Jets Recall Carl Klingberg from St. John's

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled forward Carl Klingberg from the St. John's IceCaps.

Klingberg, 20, has played in 20 games with the IceCaps this season collecting 16 points (9g, 7a) and 10 penalty minutes. The Gothenburg, Sweden native sits second on the club's scoring leaderboard and leads the team with two shorthanded goals. He scored the IceCaps first goal on home ice and started the 2011-12 season with six goals in six games.

The left winger made his NHL debut on Apr. 10/11 with the Atlanta Thrashers against the Pittsburgh Penguins. He spent eight games with the Chicago Wolves last season where he scored one goal.
