
2010 Single-Game Tickets To Go On Sale Thursday

SEATTLE, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 - The Seattle Storm announced today that single-game tickets for all preseason and regular season games at KeyArena will go on sale Thursday, April 8 beginning at 10 a.m. Single-game tickets start as low as $14, and can be purchased by visiting stormbasketball.com, by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX, or in person at any Ticketmaster retail location.
Fans are encouraged to get their tickets now as they won't want to miss out on exclusive promotional items at Storm home games this season. A series of three interlocking Storm bobblehead dolls are headlining the 2010 Storm promotional calendar. Limited quantities of these Storm collectibles featuring Sue Bird, Swin Cash and Lauren Jackson will be made available on select game nights throughout the season. Sue Bird Bobblehead Night is set for Friday, June 25. Sunday, July 25 is Swin Cash Bobblehead Night and Lauren Jackson Bobblehead Night is Saturday, August 7.
Additionally, the first 3,000 fans to enter KeyArena on Sunday, May 16 will receive a Storm "Bring It" T-shirt. On Friday, June 11 Storm fans can pick up the official 2010 Storm team poster and on Saturday, August 21 the first 3,000 Storm fans will receive a "Beat L.A." T-shirt.
The team also invites fans of all ages to a series of special-event games, featuring themed entertainment, activities, giveaways and offers. The Storm's 2010 theme night schedule includes Go Green Night presented by Carter Subaru on Tuesday, June 1; Women in Sports Night on Friday, June 11; Dads & Daughters Night on Sunday, June 20; Kids Day on Tuesday, July 6 and Women of Inspiration Night on Friday, July 30. The Seattle Storm will open its 2010 WNBA schedule on Sunday, May 16 in a 6 p.m. matchup versus Western Conference rival Los Angeles Sparks at KeyArena. The Storm will play on national television four times with all broadcasts airing on ESPN2. Highlighting the Storm's national television coverage is a KeyArena home game against defending WNBA Champion and league MVP Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 27.
