Silver Stars Single-Game Tickets Go On Sale April 8

SAN ANTONIO, April 6, 2010 - San Antonio Silver Stars single-game tickets go on sale Thursday, April 8, at 10 a.m. with tickets starting at $10. The on-sale date is scheduled for the morning of the 2010 WNBA Draft presented by adidas in which the Silver Stars have the fifth overall pick.

Hosting the season opener for the first time since moving to San Antonio, the Silver Stars open the 2010 season on May 15 against the Atlanta Dream with tip-off at the AT&T Center set for 7:00 p.m. CDT. The team then travels to Tulsa to face the Shock on May 20 before returning home for a three-game home stand against Los Angeles on May 22, New York on May 28 and Seattle on May 30.

In keeping with their marketing campaign, Enjoy the Show!, the Silver Stars will host Express-News Premiere Nights every Tuesday and Matinee Specials every Sunday. Additionally, popular theme nights highlight the season including the annual Breast Health Awareness Night on Aug. 13; Hoops and Hounds Night on June 26; and four Dollar Nights on May 15, June 26, July 16, and Aug. 20.

The 2010 WNBA Draft will be held at NBA Entertainment studios in Secaucus, N.J., and televised live on ESPN2 at 2 p.m. CDT. Tickets also are available for purchase at team box offices, Ticketmaster outlets and the NBA Store in New York.
