The Lynx, featuring two-time WNBA All-Star Seimone Augustus and former Minnesota Golden Gopher great Lindsay Whalen, will tip off the team's 17-game regular-season home schedule Sunday, May 16, at 6:00 p.m. against Katie Smith and the Washington Mystics at Target Center. Lower-level tickets to the home opener, and all 17 home games, can be purchased for as little as $10. Additional single-game ticket prices are as follows: $30, $45, $60, $110 and $175.

"Beginning with our Home Opener on May 16 vs. Washington and ending with Fan Appreciation Night on Aug. 15 vs. San Antonio, the 2010 season is going to offer fans a summer filled with family-friendly entertainment, a tremendous value and an opportunity to see the best women's basketball players in the world," said Lynx Chief Operating Officer Conrad Smith. "With the acquisitions we've made this winter, including bringing back hometown hero Lindsay Whalen, we expect this season to be the best in the franchise's 11-year history."
Minnesota's 2010 17-game home schedule is highlighted by two visits from 2009 WNBA MVP Diana Taurasi and the defending WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury (Tuesday, June 1 and Saturday, July 24); two trips to Target Center by the Los Angeles Sparks (Tuesday, July 27 and Thursday, Aug. 12); and a home date with Janel McCarville and the New York Liberty (Sunday, Aug. 8).
The on-sale date is scheduled for the day of the WNBA Draft, which will be conducted in Secaucus, N.J., on April 8 and televised live on ESPN2 at 2:00 p.m. (CDT). Minnesota owns the second and third overall selections in the upcoming draft, as well as the second pick in the third round (26th overall).
