
2 Goaltenders Assigned by Anaheim Along with Kevin Lind

West Valley City, Utah - The Anaheim Ducks today assigned rookie goaltenders Ryan Faragher and Etienne Marcoux to the Grizzlies along with rookie defenseman Kevin Lind.
Faragher and Marcoux both attended NHL training camp in Anaheim in September and both will start their pro careers in Utah.
Faragher, 24, signed a one-year contract with Anaheim on April 7, 2014 after going 53-34-8 with a 2.58 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage during three years of collegiate hockey at St. Cloud State. He was also a WCHA Scholar Athlete while in college.
Marcoux, 21, went 97-42-14 over the last five seasons in the QMJHL, playing the last three years for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. He went 26-15-7 this past season and led the league in goals-against-average and save percentage in 2012-2013.
Lind, 22, and drafted by Anaheim in the 2010 NHL Entry draft, plays his first full pro season after four years of college hockey at Notre Dame. He appeared in one game with the Ducks AHL affiliate in Norfolk at the end of last season.
The Grizzlies open the 2014-2015 regular season at Maverik Center against the Idaho Steelheads on Friday, October 17 at 7 p.m.
