Every starter for the Aces had at least one hit, as they pounded out 19 hits against Brockton to win the rubber game of the series, 12-2, and take their first series of the season. The Aces scored runs in each of the first six innings to make a winner out of Josh Neitz, who went seven innings and allowed one run on five hits and struck out four.
Mike Davis, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored, Greg Schmidt and Jutt Hileman, who had four hits, two RBI and scored twice, all homered for the Aces, whose 12 runs were one off their season high. Kris Zacuto and Brian Jones each had two hits for the Rox, who have lost five of their last seven contests.
