: Havoc Score Power Play Goal; Fall to Ice Bears

KNOXVILLE, TN OCT. 28, 2016 -The Havoc score on the power play for the third straight game but ultimately fall to the Knoxville Ice Bears by a final of 7-3.

After giving up the game's first goal for the first time this season, Huntsville came back in the opening frame to tie the game at one with Sy Nutkevtich's second of the year.

Later on in the period, Knoxville scored two more two minutes apart from each other to hold a three one lead into the second. Forward Dylan Nowakowski cut the deficit in half for the Havoc by registering his first of two points on the night. The power play goal was his first of the year and the fourth man-advantage tally on the year for the team.

But in the final minute of the second, Knoxville regained their two goal lead with a power play goal of their own.

In the third, Knoxville scored two eleven second apart from each other while adding a shorthanded goal. Jordan Wood tallied the third and final goal for the Havoc with 8.2 seconds left in regulation.

Notable Mentions

The Havoc have scored at least a goal in all 12 regulation periods to start the season.

Jordan Wood, who had a goal and an assist in tonight's game, and Nolan Kaiser, with his assist on Huntsville's first goal, now have points in two straight.

The Havoc will now move forward to the team's home opener on October 29th at 7 p.m. against the same Knoxville Ice Bears on Pharmacy First Ice at The Von Braun Center. Tickets are still available to purchase by calling 256-518-6160.
